If you are interested in hearing all those classic Jethro Tull tunes from a fresh perspective and with new ears then pick up this CD. Ian Anderson and a full orchestra play acoustic versions of these classic rock tunes. You can really tell listening to the CD that Anderson loves playing his band's music and like good jazz music is always interested in experimenting and improvising with it. Anderson shows his talent as a composer and arranger on this album. The reworking and freshening up of songs in which some of them are around 30 years old is a tricky thing. You want them to be different, but not piss off your ardent fans. Anderson and the talented musicians he plays with walk this tightrope skillfully.
