Trace Adkins has been around country music since the 1990s and has made quite a name for himself. He is the type of performer that fans love with his deep voice and working class sensibilities. Again on this album is the type of sing-a-long anthem that fans of country music adore. He writes about subjects that the average Joe can relate to such as drugs, love, baseball, and death. He gets away with the occasional schmaltziness because he seems so genuine and honest. He is like an actor who becomes the character in all his songs. Straying a bit from the traditional country sound, Dangerous Man has an element of rock within it. There are more moments of Lynard Skynard than there are of Randy Travis. As an added bonus there is a single remix of Adkins' hit "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk".
