The long awaited solo album from Fergie of The Black Eyed Peas has finally hit store shelves. She doesn't stray too far from her group though, having will.i.am. collaborate as one of the executive producers. You can definitely feel the B.E.P. vibe on this album. It's got lots of upbeat music. "Fergalicious" kicks off the album with a cool fast paced tune that makes you wonder what will follow. "Clumsy" mixes up some old school and modern beats, which makes for a unique sounding track. Fergie turns it down a notch with the slow paced "All That I Got (The Make Up Song)," a really solid effort which also features the vocals of will.i.am. The infectious hit song "London Bridge" is one of the album's highlights. "Glamorous" featuring Ludacris is notable. "Mary Jane Shoes" featuring Rita Marley starts off with a reggae sound and ends off with upbeat rock music. Definitely out of the ordinary. Overall, this album is very unique like much of the music from The Black Eyed Peas. Fergie does prove that she can definitely hold her own.
