Here is an artist who has found his niche, does it well and has not changed anything the second time around. Amos Lee sophomore album is again filled with music featuring his mellow acoustic guitar and soft voice. The lyrics are still poetic, melancholic, thought provoking, and sincere. He is probably this generation's James Taylor if I'm not stretching it too far. Lee does show some range as he steps out of his comfortable folk arena and tiptoes into a little gospel on the album. It is an experiment and it is a success. Fans of his first album will be happy with this outing and if you don't know his work, well, then, what are you waiting for?
