While on tour supporting their last studio album the Pet Shop Boys (Neil Tennant and the other guy, Chris Lowe), recorded a show they did with the BBC Concert Orchestra. You would think that this would be an odd combination – a full orchestra with a duo who never used live instrumentation in any of their music. But somehow it works and their fans let you know they are loving it with the boisterous response they give them. Most of the numbers are done in theatrical style which definitely suits the duo's music and personas. New songs from "Fundamental" are performed alongside their biggest hits like, "Left To My Own Devices", "It's a Sin" and "West End Girls". There are some interesting guest appearances by fellow diva Rufus Wainwright and fellow Brit Robbie Williams. All in all it is an album which is a 'must buy' for all Pet Shop Boy fans.
