All musical acts have to change, evolve and experiment or else their music will become stale and their fans will lose interest. We all evolve as human beings so it makes sense that musicians and the music they create will. Sometimes this is a good thing and a band or artist retains their fans and gains new ones and sometimes the fans are unhappy. This might be the case for Saliva. This album is definitely different in that it is not as hard rock as the previous ones. Now they are kinda sounding like a pseudo-Nickelback. There is still plenty of rock on the album but there is more of a radio sound to the album and slower tunes. This is the album that might lose some of their longtime fans, but gain them some new ones.
