Foreigner for me is one of those bands that you do not realize how many hits they had until you listen to an album like this. Their music has been so successful that they have enough to fill a 2-disc collection. They truly were one of the more popular bands of the 1970s and 1980s. Headed by the vocals of Lou Gramm and the guitar work of Mick Jones, this band produced a lot of rock mixed with soul and power ballads. This collection does not make the mistake of pissing off true fans by omitting songs. They have included all the hits plus the better known album tracks. Even two solo tracks, one by Mick Jones and one by Lou Gramm, have been included. I don't think you could get more thorough. It's also a great album to let casual fans learn what Foreigner was all about.
