Canada seems to be full of young jazz vocalists these days. Hoping to join the ranks of Matt Dusk, Diana Krall, Holly Cole, and Michael Buble, Kaeshammer has released an album filled with originals and covers. He is a brilliant piano playing, which he uses to his benefit on the album, and has a sexy voice. While listening to the album you will think you are listening to Harry Connick Jr. so similar do they sound. In regards to his delivery style you'll be thinking Jamie Cullum. Showing considerable talent he is able to rework classic songs to fit in with his style of delivery. Instead of giving us straight forward jazz he mixes elements of R&B, country, pop, and even gospel into his music. There's an obvious comfort in all these different genres so all the tracks are good no matter the sound.
