The Rap music industry is in desperate need of something new and refreshing. Lupe Fiasco's album "Lupe Fiasco's The Cool" is a good start. While it still maintains some of the negative aspects of Rap music, this artist does manage to put together a set of songs that shows some creativity. "Go Go Gadget Flow" has a cool vibe. "Superstar" (feat. Matthew Santos) has been getting a fair amount of radio airplay these days. It's one of the better tracks on the album. "Paris, Tokyo" has lounge style music in the background, which I thought was different. This type of different totally works. While some songs are better than others, it's a step in the right direction for this genre of music.
