Let's face it, most film soundtracks are essentially a grab for our money. They really don't enhance or reflect the film very well they just want to cash in on any success they might have at the box office. This soundtrack is a little different in that it really brings out the essence of the film and that indicates that some thought went into song selection rather than the usual slap dash attitude.
A combination of original songs ("Labels or Love" by Fergie, "All Dressed in Love" by Jennifer Hudson, "Kissing" by Bliss) and covers ("How Deep Is Your Love" by The Bird and the Bee, "The Look of Love" by Nina Simone and "How Do You Mend a Broken Heart" by Al Green and Joss Stone) and a kinda strange inclusion of the "Walk This Way" tune by Run DMC and Aerosmith. Oh well, one misstep does not a bad soundtrack make.
