Developed by one of the creative forces behind the world famous Cirque du Soleil (Gilles Ste-Croix), Les Nouveaux Cavaliers Saka will be playing under a big tent in beautiful Bromont throughout the entire summer season.
The relationship between man and horse has been one of mythic proportions since the dawn of time. Saka, originating on the plains of Eurasia around 400 B.C., is the name of a nomadic tribe in which we still find descendants of in Iran, Pakistan, Russia, China, and India. They were the first people to have trained horses to accept being ridden and give shows.
Man and horse meld together to become one performer in a mixture of force and delicacy in this show. In a vision of breathless poetry the two beings work together to create a picture that will leave you speechless at times. Using theatre, music, performance, and multi-media projections the show begins with a clown that will bring the audience along with him on a journey you will not soon forget. Human and horse will jump, gallop, dance, make you laugh, and even seem to fly. You will see performances involving acrobatics, contortionism, comedy, beautiful costumes, dancing, and intricate choreography. A must for all horse and show lovers.
