Hailing from New York City this band, together since the early 00s, has created a fresh sound that is a mix of indie rock and electronica. In the last couple of years they have made quite a name for themselves with their songs reaching the Top 10 on the Billboard charts and Top 5 in the United Kingdom.
A truly modern band, they promoted themselves on the internet and were one of the first bands to us myspace to gain an audience. From this start the band has quickly gone on to play at the Gastonbury Festival, Lollapalooza and Coachella Music Festival, opened for U2 and Depeche Mode and partying with the likes of Jay-Z.
During their short careers they have also gained a lot of press due to their onstage and offstage behaviour. Getting into a war of words with band The Killers that went on for a while, getting kicked out of parties because of drunken behaviour and getting arrested due to stripping naked onstage are just a couple of examples. You never know what is going to happen with this band.
Live you can expect them to perform their hits like "Fearless", "Unconditional", "Believe", "An Honest Mistake", and "Time Won't Let Me Go" along with covers of songs by the likes of The Cars, U2 and Smashing Pumpkins.
