Sheryl Crow Concert Preview

With her own blend of folk, rock, country, blues, and pop, singer/songwriter Sheryl Crow has made quite a career for herself over the last 15-odd years. Once she forged out on her own, after being a backup singer for none other than Michael Jackson, Crow has released hit album after hit album and Top 10 single after Top 10 single. One of the more successful solo American acts working today, she has made her career playing the type of music she likes. A talented multi-instrumentalist (she plays piano, guitar and bass) she is also an outspoken political activist who has not been afraid to come out against the American war in Iraq and the Bush government.

Not only popular with millions of fans she has also recorded and/or worked with the likes of The Rolling Stones, Kid Rock, Eric Clapton, Michelle Branch, and Scott Weiland. She has also written songs that have been recorded by Celine Dion and Wynonna Judd. Known as a good lyricist she has cranked out hit singles like "Soak Up the Sun","My Favourite Mistake", "All I Wanna Do", and "If It Makes You Happy" and has recorded hit covers of songs like "Sweet Child 'O Mine", "First Cut is the Deepest" and "Here Comes the Sun".

On stage she is a confident but laid back performer who sounds the same live as she does on record. Seeing Sheryl play is like watching an old fashioned rock show with no tricks or pyrotechnics just good music that will get you out of your seat.
