Hamilton Bulldog vs. Binghamton Senators Preview

One of the reasons that the Montreal Canadiens are a stronger team the last couple of years is that they draft well. Drafting well has led to a great improvement in their farm team, the Hamilton Bulldogs. The Bulldogs will be playing one of their regular season games at the Bell Centre against the farm team of the Ottawa Senators, the Binghamton Senators. Make sure you take the opportunity to see some future Montreal Canadiens play.

Coached by former NHLer Don Lever the Hamilton Bulldogs are doing very well this year and find themselves in 1st place of the North Division of the Western Conference with a record of 14-5-1. The team is made up of several veterans like goaltender and former NHLer with the Tampa Bay Lightening, Marc Denis , defenseman Alex Henry formerly of the Minnesota Wild and rightwinger Mike Glumac of the St. Louis Blues. To compliment these experienced players Hamilton also has some up and coming NHLers like rightwinger Matt D'Agostini, centerman Kyle Chipchura, defenseman Yannick Weber, leftwinger Max Pacioretty, and leftwinger Greg Stewart. There is plenty to be hopeful about in regards to the future with talent like this.
