Taking a walk through this exhibit allows you to experience the Titanic like never before. Never before and since has a ship sailed only once, sunk and intrigued people for years afterwards. Dubbed the "Unsinkable" for all its technological advances and its representing luxury. In the year 1912 the Titanic was the largest ship in the world. Of the 2,228 passengers on board only 705 were rescued after the ship sank.
Within the exhibit there are 288 artifacts from the ship you get to see up close and personal. These relics were brought up from the wreckage of the ship. Entire rooms on the ship are recreated, photos from the time, how the artifacts were salvaged, and there are many personal stories retold. The entire story of the Titanic from the shipyard in Belfast, Ireland to the ocean floor is gone over.
This exhibit has travelled the world and over 22 million people have seen it so far. Make sure you check out this part of history.
