The 41st edition of the Montreal International Auto Show will be parking itself in the safe (and out of the weather) confines of the Palais de Congres. The show which travels around North America gives car enthusiasts and those who might be in the market for a new car a sneak peek into what is available in 2009 and for the future.
All the major car manufacturers like Ford, GM, Hyundai, Subaru, Kia, Saturn, Volkswagon, Mazda, Toyota, Chrysler, Honda, Acura, Suzuki, and Nissan will be there. Also the luxury car manufacturers like Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Infiniti, Cadillac, Lexus, Audi, Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover, and Scion will be there. Plus high performance vehicles like Ferrari, Maserati, Lotus, Lamborghini, Bentley, and Aston Martin will dazzle you with their cars.
Besides this there will be special sections set up like MIAS Innovation-Evolution, which groups together futuristic cars alongside rare cars that have made a mark. Other special sections include: On Route to a Greener Future, Test Drive a 'Green' Vehicle, A Private Collection that will Mess Your Hair (convertibles), The 7th Heaven, and Kia Motors Childcare Centre.
This year the Auto Show has set up a blood drive clinic that is taking place at the Grande-Place of Complexe Desjardins. Many CTV celebrities will be on hand to mix and mingle with.
