It's hard to believe that these seemingly simple eight letters have caused so much trouble over the ages. The problem is that these three words are understood and dealt with completely different by the two sexes. It's the whole Venus and Mars thing all over again.
As for men….most of the time the problem is the woman is there and the man is not. She wants to hear it and he can't say it. He begins to feel the pressure and panics due to it. Somehow men cannot seem to cope with it when women tell them "I love you". This is also too much pressure….love and men, it's all about pressure.
Women, on the other hand, seem to fall in love at the drop of a dime. After one passionate night with a man some fall into the trap of mistaking those euphoric physical feelings with love. Women for the majority are not hardwired to keep relationships casual. Then they become upset when it becomes apparent that it was just sex for the man and they don't call the next day.
This is truly a battle between the sexes and I don't see it slowing down any day soon.
