With each album (this is their third) this band become surer of itself and as such each release has gotten stronger and stronger. The album has a little bit of everything for every taste. There is anthem rock, dance songs and pop on the album. The band from Las Vegas keeps their signature synthesizer reliant sound, but builds upon it by using many different instruments to create the music on the album. What I did notice is that lead singer Brandon Flowers' voice has improved since the last album. His range has grown and shown itself to be as elastic as the band's sound. Each song is unique and the lyrics make you think. Pretty good for a rock/pop band.
The Killers seem to be able to keep fans and critics alike happy. And they should be commended for that.
