Salon de la Beaute 2009 Preview

If you have anything to do with or are interested in any way to the hair and beauty domain then these two days are gonna rock your world. Every important hair stylist, esthetician and colorist will be in town to introduce new products, techniques and the latest in hair styles to us. You will want to absorb everything you see and hear like a sponge.

The Allied Beauty Association are the people behind this yearly exhibition and they do a marvellous job. Montreal is one of only 8 cities in Canada who host a salon and we are better for it. All under one roof will be the top manufacturers and companies in the hair, nails and beauty product world. All the manufacturers and distributors will have their wares for sale at greatly reduced prices, so you can pick up clips, scissors, dryers, extensions, shampoos, etc.

Professionals from KMS California, Schwarzkopf, Paul Mitchell, Matrix, and many others will be on hand doing demos of the latest in hair colour products and cuts for all to see and learn from. This is the primary function of the salon – education.

Besides watching some of the best in the business work at the numerous kiosques there are also different hair competitions that happen on Sunday evening and Monday morning. You can see some of the brightest young stars in Quebec compete in categories such as, Cut and Styling Avant-Garde for Women, Cut and Styling en Vogue for Women and Day Styles using a Blow-dryer for Women.
