The Disney franchise is cashing in big time with one hit movie after another as of late. Race To Witch Mountain will surely be another winner for them. It's a fun filled adventure about aliens, UFO's and looks at science and the unexplainable phenomena of other life forms living in the far and beyond.
Jack Bruno (Dwayne Johnson) is an ex-con cab driver who gets more than he bargained for when two young passengers Sara (Anna Sophia Robb) and Seth (Alexander Ludwig) get into his cab while he is occupied with fighting off some bad guys. The brother and sister duo offer him a big stack of money and tell Jack to get them safely to their destination. Once they get to an abandoned house, Jack get suspicious that they might be up to something so he follows them in and is shocked at what he finds out. What follows are alien attacks, UFOs and lots of car chases. Along with the help of Dr. Alex Friedman (Carla Gugino), Jack must help Sara and Seth reach their ultimate goal as the world's future depends on it.
This film was actually better than I thought it was going to be. There was suspense, humorous moments and some witty dialogue. It's a fun adventure movie that can be enjoyed by moviegoers of all ages.
