The latest album by this environmentally conscious Australian musician is his ode to the balance between dark and light. Shifting a little away from his beloved didgeridoo to more of a reliance on his slide guitar and vocals, Rudd's album verges on a psychedelic 70s sound. The songs are all loud and thick with sound. It all lends to giving it a very moody and dark tone. It seems as if the dark has won over on this occasion.
It is a new sound for this artist and his longtime fans should love it because it captures the essence of his much appreciated live show.
