This L.A. all-girl band is not your typical girl band. There is no pop, no choreography nor any sugar coated lyrics. They are a rock band – plain and simple. While listening to "Pillar of Salt" (their first full-length release after releasing four EPs) you might be transported back to the 1970s as it has that kind of feel to it. There is some psychedelic stuff going on here. Also, there is a dark or sad quality to most of the songs. It is an interesting window into women making their place in the world of rock and how they can be strong and soft at the same time. They are part sugar and spice mixed with a whole bunch of puppy dog tails. As is their music.
