Canadian Hugh Dillon has worked as an actor (Flashpoint, Durham County) and a musician (formerly of The Headstones) during his career. Produced by Paul Langlois from Tragically Hip, the album's 14 tracks demonstrate that he quite comfortable in his role as a musician. Confident, but not in your face is how I would describe Dillon as a musician. There is definitely plenty of maturity there. It is obvious that he puts a lot of thought into his lyrics and music. You can certainly count on lyrical honesty from this artist. Using his skills as an actor he is as comfortable inhabiting his bluesy tunes as he is with the more pop-oriented numbers on the album.
