It has been 20 years since grunge rock band Nirvana released their debut album. My, how time flies! The album eventually went platinum and was the beginning for one of the more important rock bands of the 90s.
Sales for the album started off slowly and then skyrocketed after the release of their second album in 1991, "Nevermind". "Bleach" went on to sell over 1 million copies in the U.S. alone. The sound on the album has been greatly cleaned up and it does the music justice.
This anniversary packaging includes a never-before-released live performance (from 1990 in Oregon) of the songs from the album. Another bonus is the 48-page CD booklet included that contains previously unreleased photos of the band. One of those rare reissues that does not take advantage of the fans.
