The comparisons to musical acts like Blondie and Siouxsie and the Banshees are obvious. I can also hear a little bit of Dolores O'Riordan (The Cranberries) here as well. Some of the musical sections also sound like The Cure. But we are not here to play the comparison game. It should be a discussion of why you should buy this album rather than save your money and continue to listen to the aforementioned artists.
You have to scratch a little beneath the surface to discover an artist that, yes, has their confidence and vocal stylings, but also has a very modern sound. The songs are rock with a dance edge to them. It is not that we are listening to the dawning of a new sound here as it is definitely synthesizer soaked alt rock, but it is different/interesting enough to catch your attention. On such tracks as "Clear As a Bell" you can really hear the potential.
