After a successful run with her album "Dangereuse Attraction," which churned out hits like "Mentir," "Emmene-Moi" and "Qui Prendra Ma Place," Marie-Mai is back with a new album and a new look to go with it. The talented Quebec artist still maintains her edgy sound but has mixed it up with other genres. The result? Another really solid album which she can be proud of. "Version 3.0." has already gone gold and continues its climb. She impresses with the debut single "C'est Moi," an awesome self-empowering track that sets the tone for the rest of the album. It is followed by "Garde tes larmes, " a well crafted tune with lyrics like…"le karma saura s'occuper de toi." "Secrets", "J'attendrais Mon Tour" and "Comme Avant" also display Marie-Mai's vocal skills. Not often do we find albums that one can listen to from start to finish without pressing fast forward on one track or another. I thought all 12 tracks were enjoyable, including "Do You," a taste of what is to come as rumor has it that she is working on an English album as well. Looking forward to hearing that.
