18-year-old singer/guitarist Christofer Drew records his music as Never Shout Never. He also has his own record label that is distributed by Sire Records. Not bad for an 18-year-old, right?
Every sound on the album is created by his voice and actual instruments – meaning no synthesizers were used. There is no tweaking or voice dubbing going on here. The parts from the London Symphony Orchestra strings were recorded at Abbey Road Studios and the equipment used is almost all from before 1970.
The songs are all quite orchestral, but I'm not sure about his voice. It is quite nasally and doesn't really add much to the music. My only other complaint is that at 8 tracks it is quite short.
