Made up by a mixture of British and French musicians, Uniform Motion has released their second album. Harmonies and hooks are the buzz words of the day with this band. Their vocals are like velvet and the hooks as melodic as can be. Alternating between songs that feature light electro-pop and interesting string arrangements, all band members are obviously very talented. But somehow the talent has not really translated into something that you can connect with. Many of the songs just all blurred into one big glob and I did not really notice when one song changed into another. Not that they all sound the same it is just the music does not hold your attention. Technically proficient, these musicians forgot to instill some of themselves into the music. Leaving many of the tracks to ring hollow. The most interesting songs are "Roll Over" and "Storm Eye".
