Settling in comfortably to the singer/songwriter category, James Apollo (he of the very gravelly voice) still tries to do something a little different within that label. Running the emotional gamut from dark to dangerous charming then finally fragile; it is a voyage you are gonna want to take.
He takes on a sonic and visual voyage across the United States with the variety on the album. Beginning with the Cajun sounds of New Orleans on "Oil on the Trashcan" he then moves west with the dark empty tones of "For Now" that will transport you to the expanses of the desolate parts of the western U.S. Obviously a nomadic creature he then goes on to "No East, No West". Keep up if you can.
