This Brooklyn band, named after a film that the lead singer made while at Columbia University, have been called preppy-indie frauds by some critics while others adore them as is proven by their quick rise. The reason, as I see it, to like this charming band is that they don't claim to be a revolutionary musical act. They look like they come from Ivy League colleges and play toe-tapping pop music. What's not to like?
Their songs are catchy, confident and unique sounding with their keyboards, guitar, drums, and the softness of Ezra Koenig's vocals. Live, they are definitely a band that will leave you wanting more.
This general admission show is for all ages.
