Supernatural: The Complete Fifth Season – Blu-ray Edition

Brothers Sam (played by Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (played by Jensen Ackles) had to grow up without their mother. She was killed by an evil paranormal creature sixteen years ago. The boys and her husband (played by ) were all scarred by her death and as a result their father raised Sam and Dean to be soldiers against the paranormal and a variety of other creatures. Now young men, the Winchester brothers travel through many states hunting down and killing these creatures. The ultimate goal being to locate and kill the creature that killed their mother.

Episode 1: Sympathy for the Devil: Sam, Dean and Bobby (played by Jim Beaver) have to deal with the Devil escaping from Hell.

Episode 2: Good God, Y'all: Rufus Turner (played by Steven Williams) asks Sam, Dean and Bobby for help as his town is overrun with demons.

Episode 3: Free to Be You and Me: Sam decides he is going to stop hunting.

Episode 4: The End: Dean does not want Sam's help to wage battle with the Devil.

Episode 5: Fallen Idols: Sam and Dean go to a town where famous dead icons are killing people.

Episode 6: I Believe the Children are our Future: The brothers have to deal with fairy tale creatures coming to life.

Episode 7: The Curious Case of Dean Winchester: Bobby takes a big risk in a poker game with a witch in which he wagers 25 years of his life.

Episode 8: Changing Channels: Sam and Dean are trapped in television shows and there seems to be no way out.

Episode 9: The Real Ghostbusters: Becky (played by Emily Perkins), the brothers' superfan, tricks Sam and Dean into attending a Supernatural convention.

Episode 10: Abandon All Hope…: Sam, Dean and Castiel (played by Misha Collins) find the Colt and go after Lucifer.

Episode 11: Sam, Interrupted: The brothers have to go undercover as patients at a mental hospital.

Episode 12: Swap Meat: While working Sam comes under the spell of a teenager who has learned a body swapping spell.

Episode 13: The Song Remains the Same: To prevent the Apocalypse, Anna (played by Julie McNiven) time travels in order to kill the Sam's parents before they conceive him.

Episode 14: My Bloody Valentine: When people in a small town start killing in the name of love, the brothers Winchester decide to take on Cupid.

Episode 15: Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid: The dead start coming to life in Bobby's hometown.

Episode 16: Dark Side of the Moon: Sam and Dean are killed by hunters and go on up to Heaven.

Episode 17: 99 Problems: In a town the Minister's daughter turns everyone against each other who was previously going fight against the Apocalypse.

Episode 18: Point of No Return: Dean contemplates giving up.

Episode 19: Hammer of the Gods: The Winchester brothers are kidnapped by a group of gods.

Episode 20: The Devil You Know: Dean has to learn to completely trust Sam.

Episode 21: Two Minutes to Midnight: Dean makes a deal with Death.

Episode 22: Swan Song: Dean and Sam are forced to make a tough decision in order to halt the Apocalypse.
