C'mon people we all know that Anaconda 1 and 2 were not enough to satisfy you. The third film in this series was begging to be made. And to sweeten the pot tenfold the makers of this film secured the amazing acting prowess of the legendary David Hasselhoff.
In a secret research facility, two huge mutant snakes are created and being tested upon by scientist, Amanda (Crystal Allen – Maid in Manhattan). Murdoch (John Rhys-Davies – The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, The Lost World) is the financier who pushes the experiment forward too fast due to his greed and something goes horribly wrong. The snakes escape and are out in the world on the loose. Their massive size and unpredictability leads to danger for everyone in the area.
Hammett (David Hasselhoff – Click, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story), a mercenary, is hired to capture the snakes so he assembles a team to hunt them down. What he doesn't know is that one of the snakes is pregnant and will be giving birth to a litter of mutant snakes shortly. The hunt is on for the two predators to stop them before they reach the city.
Even though your standards should be lowered when you realize that this was a film made for television (Mr. Hasselhoff's favourite medium) it still doesn't help make the film any better. The film's aim is to scare you and gross you out and you will be mainly due to its horrible acting and ridiculous story. Even the special effects are poor. If you are really desperate I guess you could watch it, but then again…..
