Polygamy. Not a typical subject for a television series. But one that does peak your interest. Bill Hendrickson (played by Bill Pullman) is a businessman who lives in the suburbs with his family. Sound normal? Well, it isn't. As Bill is a Mormon who has three wives and a gaggle of children of all different ages. It makes for plenty of headaches for Bill but good television for the viewer.
Episode 1: Block Party: Bill pitches a Mormon-friendly casino on native land and is helped by Margene (played by Ginnifer Goodwin).
Episode 2: Empire: Bill begins to "date" Ana (played by Branka Katic) – along with his three wives.
Episode 3: Prom Queen: Ben (played by Douglas Smith) takes Sarah (played by Amanda Seyfried) to prom.
Episode 4: On Trial: Roman's (played by Harry Dean Stanton) trial is coming up and Nicki (played by Chloe Sevigny) is conflicted.
Episode 5: For Better or For Worse: The three Hendrickson wives argue about their living arrangements.
Episode 6: Come, Ye Saints: A pilgrimage of thousands of miles ends up testing Bill's faith.
Episode 7: Fight or Flight: Joey (played by Shawn Doyle) is thinking of taking on a second wife.
Episode 8: Rough Edges: Margene launches her new business.
Episode 9: Outer Darkness: A kidnapping happens and Bill rethinks the way he has been dealing with Roman.
Episode 10: Sacrament: Sarah takes everyone by surprise with her announcement.
