Girlfriends: The Final Season

Unfortunately this was the final season of one of the funnier shows on television. It was a show that centers around three African-American women from different walks of life and their friendships. The three girlfriends, Maya (played by Golden Brooks), Joan (played by Tracee Ellis Ross) and Lynn (played by Persia White), share everything that is going on in their lives including the hard times and the good.

Episode 1: Range of Emotions: Joan and Aaron (played by Richard T. Jones) fight over the fact that she went out and bought an expensive stove when he didn't want to.

Episode 2: Baghdad, My Bad: Aaron's National Guard unit has been called into duty in Iraq and Joan's plans for the perfect wedding go out the window.

Episode 3: Where did Lynn-digo?: Lynn meets a UCLA student named Xander (played by Quddus Phillipe) and agrees to play at a fundraising concert he has organized then gets a conflicting offer she can't refuse.

Episode 4: Losing It: Maya is depressed after finding out that her book contract has been terminated.

Episode 5: Good Grief: Maya and Darnell (played by Khalil Kane) try to deal with the loss of their unborn child.

Episode 6: Spree to be Free: Joan decides that Maya needs some shopping therapy to deal with her grief.

Episode 7: Snap Back: Monica (played by Keesha Sharp) and William (played by Reggie Hayes) announce that they are going to have a baby.

Episode 8: Save the Last Dance: Joan and Maya try to prove they are not old by trying to keep up with Lynn and staying out all night at the club.

Episode 9: R-E-S-P-E-C-T, Find Out What it Means to William: William believes that he is not being respected at work because he is black.

Episode 10: Deck the Halls with Bags and Folly: Joan takes part in a support group for families of soldiers in Iraq but is afraid that they've lost the holiday spirit.

Episode 11: Adapt to Adopt: Maya and Darnell consider adopting a child.

Episode 12: What's Black-a-Lackin'?: Lynn is upset when she discovers that her record company believes that she isn't black enough.

Episode 13: Stand and Deliver: Joan is over the moon when she gets a letter from Aaron and William tries to teach Jabari (played by Kendre Berry) to drive.
