Beginning in 2001 over 11 million people (I suspect mostly women) have been entertained by this musical comedy show. Featuring parodies of songs from the 60s right up to the 90s, the show is impossible not to like.
Menopause is something that every woman at one time or another has to go through. This show has been a nice coping mechanism for many. It truly is a celebration of women going through a time that has been dubbed "The Change".
The show takes place in the lingerie department of a store. There is a sale going on and a black lace bra brings four different women together. The women end up speaking about hot flashes, mood swings, forgetfulness, chocolate cravings, and night sweats. During the course of their sharing they come to realize that menopause is something that should be spoken about and that women no longer have to go through it feeling alone.
It is a show for all ages as everyone can enjoy this fun look at menopause. Even men can enjoy the humour and good music in the show. And it is good to know that a portion of the proceeds from every show goes towards ovarian cancer research and awareness.
