Miami Vice: Season 5

Before "Friends" and "Seinfeld" the television show that had the most influence on how its audience spoke and dressed was Miami Vice. During the 80s this was the hip show. Everyone watched it and guys emulated the two leads by dressing in pastel colours and no socks. Ah, those were the days! Everything about the show was polished, trendy, cutting edge, and cool. Another thing that really was memorable about the show was the music. Big bands/artists such as U2, The Cure, Guns 'N Roses, and Public Enemy all contributed music to it. All guys wanted to be detectives in vice due to this show, as they wanted the women and the action. The days of Detectives Sonny Crockett (Don Johnson – from television's Nash Bridges) and Rico Tubbs (Philip Michael Thomas – appeared in episodes of Good Times and Wonder Woman) were action-packed; there was never a dull moment. This was the fifth and final season of the show.
