Shark: Season One

Emmy Award-winner James Woods is the type of actor that you love to hate. He is great at playing dysfunctional, sleazy characters. Shark is no stretch for him. His character is sleazy but still likeable.

Sebastian Stark is a top celebrity defense attourney who wins his cases at any cost. One cases causes him to question his motives and morals, so he decides to become a member of the other side – the Los Angeles' district attourney office. He heads a team of young, talented lawyers and tries to still his conscience at the same time as he puts the bad guys behind bars.

Episode 1: Pilot: Sebastian Stark (played by James Woods) starts working for the Los Angeles district attourney's high profile crime unit.

Episode 2: L.A.P.D. Blue: Stark's past comes back to bite him in the butt.

Episode 3: Dr. Feelbad: Stark, despite no evidence, investigates a famous heart surgeon (played by Steven Eckholdt) for the murder of his wife.

Episode 4: Russo: Stark's daughter Julie's (played by Danielle Panabaker) schoolmarks start to slip when she tries to help a boy she likes.

Episode 5: In the Grasp: Trying the case of three college football players accused of raping a female student proves to be more difficult than it first seemed.

Episode 6: Fashion Police: Workers are killed in a sweatshop fire, so Stark and his team take on a major fashion company.

Episode 7: Déjà vu All Over Again: An 8-year-old girl is kidnapped and murdered which brings back memories of a previous case for Stark.

Episode 8: Love Triangle: A black female classmate of Julie's is killed in a hit and run in a rich white neighbourhood causing plenty of racial tension.

Episode 9: Dial M for Monica: A married assistant district attourney is killed while with a prostitute.

Episode 10: Sins of the Mother: A rich married woman claims that she killed her ex-con lover was in self defense.

Episode 11: The Wrath of Khan: Casey (played by Sam Page) is taken hostage when Stark goes after an arms dealer.

Episode 12: Wayne's World: A serial killer acts as his own lawyer causing one of his attempted victims to not want to testify.

Episode 13: Teacher's Pet: Stark hires a bodyguard for Julie to protect her from the serial killer (played by Bill Campbell).

Episode 14: Starlet Fever: Stark tries the high profile case of a Hollywood actress who is killed when her car is forced off the road.

Episode 15: Here Comes the Judge: Stark goes after a judge (played by Tim Matheson) whose wife was murdered.

Episode 16: Blind Trust: Stark reluctantly agrees to help and old friend (played by Gary Cole) who has the dead body of a woman on his hands.

Episode 17: Backfire: Two policemen claim self-defense after shooting a black teenager and Stark has his doubts.

Episode 18: Trial By Fire: Wanting his conviction reversed, an accused armed robber takes the courtroom hostage and wants Stark to get him off.

Episode 19: Porn Free: Stark is in a sticky situation when he prosecutes the head of a woman's shelter for killing a pornographer.

Episode 20: Fall From Grace: Stark faces a former protégée (played by Natasha Henstridge) in court.

Episode 21: Strange Bedfellows: After being missing for four years, an 11-year-old boy is found living with his abductor as his 'son'.

Episode 22: Wayne's World 2: Revenge of the Shark: Serial killer Wayne Callison is accused of killing another woman.
