Star Wars: Clone Wars – Volume Two

If you were a big fan of the last installment of the Star Wars series of films (Are there really any of you?) or a fan of animation than this animated series should prove interesting to you. The animated feature has been seen on the Cartoon Network and has won 2 Emmy Awards. It is geared for fans of all ages. As far as the animation goes it is colourful and stylized. Like Volume One the emphasis is on action and battle scenes, but there is also some interesting dialogue. The animated series goes into more depth about certain characters than even did the film, so it is a must for all rabid Star Wars fans.

Volume Two continues the larger-than-life adventures that link the story connecting Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith. The Jedi try to fight off a surprise attack by General Grievous on the capital city of Coruscant. Out of necessity, Anakin Skywalker becomes a Jedi Knight at an extremely young age and goes through a rite of passage on the planet Nelvan. Master Windu and Yoda have to use all of their incredible skills in the fight against the Separatists. It becomes apparent to the citizens of the Republic that General Grievous's attack is really a smokescreen for his true plan.
