One of television’s best loved crime dramas starred Raymond Burr as Perry Mason, defense attourney. Whenever there is a tough case it seems like the accused finds their way to Mason. He is helped out by his secretary Della Street (played by Barbara Hale) and private detective Paul Drake (played by William Hopper) on all of his cases.

Episode 1: The Case of the Prankish Professor: In his English class Professor Ronald Hewes (played by Barry Atwater) plays a trick on his class when he hires a man to shoot him in the middle of class with a gun filled with blanks. When he ends up really dead later his estranged wife (played by Patricia Breslin) is charged with his murder.

Episode 2: The Case of Constant Doyle: A recently widowed attourney (played by Bette Davis) takes on one of her husband’s cases and defends Cal Leonard (played by Michael Parks), a young man facing assault and burglary charges and later murder.

Episode 3: The Case of the Libelous Locket: Perry Mason is in the hospital so Paul Drake helps a law school professor who has a student who has been accused of murdering a dance instructor.

Episode 4: The Case of the Two-Faced Turn-A-Bout: A Balkan dignitary turns up dead after having made a deal to sell top secret papers to a newspaper columnist.

Episode 5: The Case of the Surplus Suitor: An heiress is charged with her uncle’s murder and she gets both Perry Mason and corporate lawyer Sherman Hatfield’s (played by Walter Pidgeon) team for her defense.

Episode 6: The Case of the Golden Oranges: Perry has it tougher than usual when his star witness is a dog named Hard Tack.

Episode 7: The Case of the Lawful Lazarus: A man who had been previously declared legally dead returns and tries to claim his dead wife’s money. He is then charged with murder when the executor of her will turns up dead.

Episode 8: The Case of the Velvet Claws: After he is photographed with his girlfriend leaving an illegal gambling place, a politician is blackmailed and his girlfriend hires Perry to help him.

Episode 9: The Case of the Lover’s Leap: A man turns up dead after plotting to extort his partner, who is accused of his murder.

Episode 10: The Case of the Elusive Element: A man is charged with the death of his partner, a man who tried to rob him and frame his wife.

Episode 11: The Case of the Greek Goddess: A sculptor comes back from his vacation in Europe with a woman he calls his muse and wants to marry. He has also brought back her mother, who is against the union. When she turns up dead and he is seen getting rid of the body, Perry is brought on to defend the sculptor of murder.

Episode 12: The Case of the Skeleton’s Closet: A tell-all novelist is murdered and Perry defends his ex-wife.

Episode 13: The Case of the Potted Plant: A man who was intensely jealous of his wife turns up dead and Perry has to defend one of her believed lovers.

Episode 14: The Case of the Witless Witness: Perry takes on the case of a judge who ruled against him when the judge is charged with murder and fraud.
