Hogan’s Heroes was really unlike any other World War II show or film and even anything of its era.  Filled with slapstick humour it was a series that people either loved or hated.  Many of the main characters are…well, there is no other way to say it…stupid but you still love them. Character chemistry is great. A classic show that has all the required elements to make it great.

Episode 1: The Flight of the Valkyrie: Hogan (played by Bob Crane) tries to help a baroness escape but Klink (played by Werner Klemperer) gets in the way.

Episode 2: Hogan’s Hofbrau: In order to get some Intel on nearby German troops, Hogan sneaks out to a local bar.

Episode 3: Happy Birthday, Adolf: Hogan and his men have to destroy an artillery unit for a planned bombing to happen.

Episode 6: Some of Their Planes are Missing: The Germans come up with the idea of sending troops over to England in stolen Allied planes.
