Jim Phelps (played by Peter Graves) is brought out of retirement and organizes a new team of I.M.F. agents that will accept all the dangerous missions assigned to them. All their assignments have global repercussions. These 16 episodes are part of the series’ final season.

Episode 5: Countdown: A dangerous general convinces a religious terrorist to steal a nuclear weapon and it could result in an international war.
Episode 6: War Games: An Eastern European country’s military training exercises will be used as the perfect cover for a real invasion.
Episode 7: Target Earth: While investigating a terrorist plot one of the I.M.F. agents is kidnapped.
Episode 8: The Fuhrer’s Children: Jim and his team have plans to bring down the kingpin of an international neo-Nazi coalition.
Episode 9: Banshee: While in Ireland, Jim and his team take on the case of a black market weapons trader whose product brings on violence.
Episode 10: For Art’s Sake: A country’s priceless work of art is stolen while on exhibition in the U.S., so it is up to the I.M.F. to find it before there is an international incident.
Episode 11: Deadly Harvest: With the threat of bioengineered virus hanging over the world’s wheat production it is Jim and his team to the rescue.
Episode 12: Cargo Cult: The dead bodies of South Pacific tribesmen begin turning up and it leads to the I.M.F. discovering an illegal gold-mining operation that exploits them.
Episode 13: The Assassin: A stress clinic seems to be the link between the assassination of several influential figures.
Episode 14: Gunslinger: It’s undercover in an Old West themed resort for Jim and his team to find out if it is a front for illegal arms sales.
Episode 15: Church Bells in Bogota: The team travels to Colombia to take on a drug lord and Shannon (played by Jane Badler) finds herself in danger.
Episode 16: The Sands of Seth: The return of an ancient Egyptian cult coincides with the strangulation murder of a couple of top Egyptian officials.
