The science geek show debuted in the fall of 2007 and despite the fact that it has been moved around the schedule by CBS it has continued to be successful. It gives the viewer plenty of laughs showing what would happen if a beautiful girl moved in next door to a couple of science geeks. The fact that they have precious few social skills outside the lab becomes quickly apparent to Leonard (played by Johnny Galecki), Howard (played by Simon Helberg) and Raj (played by Kunal Nayyar). Sheldon (played by Jim Parsons) doesn’t give a flying fig what others think of him.
Episode 1: The Bad Fish Paradigm: Though he doesn’t want to hear about it Penny (played by Kaley Cuoco) tells Sheldon about her not so great first date with Leonard.
Episode 2: The Codpiece Topology: Sheldon is upset when Leonard goes back to Leslie (played by Sara Gilbert).
Episode 3: The Barbarian Sublimation: Penny becomes addicted to an online game based on Conan the Barbarian and keeps bugging Sheldon about it.
Episode 4: The Griffin Equivalency: Raj is named one of the 30 under 30 to watch by People magazine and becomes impossible to live with.
Episode 5: The Euclid Alternative: The gang does an intervention to help Sheldon get over his fear of driving.
Episode 6: The Cooper-Nowitski Theorem: Everyone is shocked when an undergrad student is attracted to Sheldon.
Episode 7: The Panty Piñata Polarization: Penny decides on revenge against Sheldon after he bans her from the apartment for petty things.
Episode 8: The Lizard-Spock Expansion: A girl that Howard likes has feelings for Leonard.
Episode 9: The White Asparagus Triangulation: Sheldon is over the moon when Leonard finally goes out with a girl he approves of.
Episode 10: The Vartabedian Conundrum: Sheldon’s hypochondria drives everyone including himself mad.
Episode 11: The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis: Leonard is upset when Penny dates his colleague.
Episode 12: The Killer Robot Instability: Howard takes to heart Penny’s criticism of his love life and checks out when the guys really need him.
Episode 13: The Friendship Algorithm: Sheldon comes up with a flowchart on how to gain friends.
Episode 14: The Financial Permeability: Leonard has a confrontation with Penny’s ex after Sheldon lends her money to pay her rent.
Episode 15: The Maternal Capacitance: Penny and Leonard become closer after a visit by his mother.
Episode 16: The Cushion Saturation: A game of paintball leads to a fight between Penny and Sheldon and something completely different between Howard and Leslie.
Episode 17: The Terminator Decoupling: Aboard a train to San Francisco for a conference the gang is thrilled to find out one of the actors from the television show Terminator: The Sarah Connors Chronicles is also on the train.
Episode 18: The Work Song Nanocluster: A hopped up on caffeine Sheldon takes over Penny’s home business and everything gets out of hand.
Episode 19: The Dead Hooker Juxtaposition: Penny is threatened when a good looking woman moves into the building but that changes when she thinks the new tenant is taking advantage of the guys.
Episode 20: The Hofstadter Isotope: Howard, Leonard and Raj go to a bar on Ladies’ Night.
Episode 21: The Vegas Renormalization: Leonard and Raj take Howard to Vegas to get over his break up with Leslie.
Episode 22: The Classified Materials Turbulence: Stuart asks Leonard for advice about his upcoming second date with Penny. What will Leonard do?
Episode 23: The Monopolar Expedition: Leonard is not sure he should go to the North Pole for an important summer job after Penny begins behaving funny.
