In literature and then on the small screen Perry Mason became known as the defense lawyer who took on and won cases that seemed unwinnable.  Moving from the pages of Erle Stanley Gardner’s novels to television Perry Mason became even more widely known and admired. A lawyer who worked around the clock for his clients, Perry Mason (played by Raymond Burr) dug deeper, asked brilliant questions and was generally relentless in his pursuit of the truth. He was aided in this end by his secretary Della Street (played by Barbara Hale) and private investigator Paul Drake (played by William Hopper).

Episode 6: The Case of the Reluctant Model: An art student gets involved in art fraud and then, more perilously, murder.

Episode 7: The Case of the Bigamous Spouse: A female door-to-door salesman becomes Perry’s client after discovering her friend’s husband is leading a double life and then is accused of murder.

Episode 8: The Case of the Floating Stones: A murder happens while a young lady is searching for her late grandfather’s missing stolen diamonds.

Episode 9: The Case of the Festive Felon: After the death of the wealthy matriarch of the family dies and the family discovers that she is leaving her money to her private nurse rather than them the accusations fly fast and furious.

Episode 10: The Case of the Devious Delinquent: Perry has to come to the defense of a young man who started off by robbing a liquor store then things get a whole lot worse for him when his partner turns up dead.

Episode 11: The Case of the Bouncing Boomerang: A real estate deal turns into a murder and Perry tries to uncover the truth.

Episode 12: The Case of the Badgered Brother: It turns to murder when two brother find themselves battling over the ownership of the family clothing business.

Episode 13: The Case of the Wednesday Woman: A wife is at her wits end after her husband is released from prison and she gets him a job but he ends up being accused of another crime.

Episode 14: The Case of the Accosted Accountant: Edward Lewis (played by Richard Anderson) finds himself in hot trouble after he thinks his boss, who is also his father-in-law, is guilty of embezzlement and then the man turns up dead.

Episode 15: The Case of the Capering Camera: A model hires Perry after she is accused of murdering a photographer who had been blackmailing her sister.
