Lovingly restored from the original footage from the show. Even including the lost footage of the performance of the songs “The WASP”, “Hello, I Love You” and “Spanish Caravan”. Sure, it is not perfect with some camera, line of vision, audio, and blurring problems but it is the full concert this iconic band performed at Venice. This was Jim Morrison, Robby Krieger, Ray Manzarek and John Densmore at their best. The hometown audience laps up everything they do with wild enthusiasm. The lyrics are poetic, Morrison prowls the stage like a caged tiger and the band is so innovative that it will delight even the most casual of fans. It was said to not be your typical Doors show in that they rehearsed and stuck to the set list. What does take place is incredibly loose in a structured kind of way. There are long jams but very few self-indulgent solos.
