Now many of you think that being the wife or girlfriend of a professional football player would be exciting, fun and glamourous but it isn’t. Or so it seems if you are with someone who plays for the San Diego Sabers. It is one challenge after another for Sabers players and their significant others. The men have to worry about staying healthy, learning the playbook and fending off competition.  While the wives/girlfriends fill their time with getting their men top notch agents, plan charity events and fending off the groupies trying to get to their men.

Melanie (played by Tia Mowry) learns all this the hard way. She has passed on her chance to attend Johns Hopkins Medical School to concentrate on being Mrs. Derwin Davis. Derwin (played by Pooch Hall) is the star wide receiver for the Sabers. Their married life is one dramatic moment after another which leads to a rocky marriage for them but great television for the viewer. Throw in some humour with all that drama and voila it’s a whole lotta fun.

Episode 1: Skeletons: Melanie’s secret after it is revealed drives a wedge between her and Derwin. Malik (played by Hosea Chanzes) and Tasha (played by Wendy Raquel Robinson) bring Jenna (played by Tika Sumpter) back to rehab.

Episode 2: The Truth Pact: Jason (played by Coby Bell) has a wild night with a woman named Chardonnay (played by Brandy). Tasha does not approve of Malik’s relationship with Jenna.

Episode 3: No Money, Mo Problems: Derwin hires his old manager Irv (played by P.J. Byrne) back. Tasha is suing Derwin for the money she feels he owes her due to work she did for him when she was is agent.

Episode 4: The Black People Episode: Derwin tries to be friends with the Sabers new quarterback, Kwan (played by Charles Michael Davis). Melanie and Tasha get into a fight over a charity fashion show.

Episode 5: Grand Opening, Grand Closing: Melanie and Derwin decide to try again to have a baby. Jason is upset when Chardonnay tells him she doesn’t want to date him.

Episode 6: Drink, Pray, Love: Jason is shocked when they bring a new co-anchor onto his show. Due to his financial problems, Malik has to sell his mansion.

Episode 7: The Tricks Episode: A video of Malik performing a football trick goes viral and he hopes it will win back the starting quarterback job for him. Tasha does not seem to want to accept Melanie’s apology.

Episode 8: Matchmaker, Matchmaker…Mind Your Business: Tasha starts a new relationship though once she finds out what he does for a living she might change her mind. Melanie tries to become friends with Derwin’s ex, Janay (played by Gabrielle Dennis).

Episode 9: Keep Your Friends Close and Your Prostitute Closer: Derwin is very upset when he learns that Janay is getting married. Malik warns Tasha’s new boyfriend to stay away from her after he finds out what the guy does for a living.

Episode 10: Catfight on the Catwalk: During the fashion show Melanie and Tasha are locked in a bathroom. Despite the fact that he has an opportunity for a threesome, Malik has trouble getting aroused.

Episode 11: A Punch in the Gut…Full of Human: Derwin and Melanie receive some bad news at the fertility clinic. Melanie tries to cope by keeping very busy.

Episode 12: Higher Ground: Derwin’s little poker night gets quite wild. Melanie asks Tasha to be a surrogate for her and Derwin.

Episode 13: There’s No Place Like Home: Melanie is not thrilled when an old friend of Derwin’s stays with them. Malik is hesitant to go back to his hometown despite the fact that they are naming the library in the grammar school after him.

Episode 14: Derwin’s About to Go H.A.M.: Derwin intentionally misses a block and Kwan suffers a serious knee injury. The guilt over what he has done really gets to Derwin and he is not acting like himself.

Episode 15: Party in a Box: Jason’s co-anchor learns that he is married. Chardonnay invites all Jason’s friends over for a party.

Episode 16: Fits and Starts: Malik is not thrilled when he learns that his mother and Pookie (played by Rockmond Dunbar) might start up a romantic relationship. Janay tells Derwin that her new husband got a great job offer and they are moving with D.J. to Washington.

Episode 17: A Woman’s Right to Choose Herself: Tasha is not sure she is ready to be a surrogate for Melanie and Derwin. Jason wants to help Chardonnay out financially but she is reluctant.

Episode 18: Breakthrough. Breakdown. Break-Through: Melanie really begins to re-evaluate her life. Malik’s past comes back to haunt him.

Episode 19: Let Them Eat (Cup) Cake: Melanie goes for an interview at John Hopkins. Tasha joins a celibacy support group.

Episode 20: Cold Swine Sucks…And so Does Falling in Love: Derwin fires Irv again. Tasha is upset by a text message she sees on Pookie’s phone.

Episode 21: Move Trick, Get Out the Way: It is the week of the Championship game and Derwin and Melanie are fighting. Jason makes a decision about his relationship with Chardonnay.

Episode 22: The Championship Game Episode: Chardonnay does not want to lose Jason. Malik comes to a decision about his relationship with Jenna.
