Wanting to get rid of his crazy family once and for all, Michael Bluth (played by Jason Bateman) decides to pack up his stuff and take himself and son, George-Michael (played by Michael Cera), to Phoenix. He doesn’t quite get there as the police pull him over and tell him his father, George Sr. (played by Jeffrey Tambor), has escaped from prison. This means that Michael could go to jail if he doesn’t prove that he didn’t know what his father had going on in Iraq. So it is back home to clear his name for Michael.
Episode 1: The One Where Michael Leaves: Micheal’s plan to move to Arizona is foiled when his father escaped from prison. Lucille (played by Jessica Walter) and Oscar (played by Jeffrey Tambor) restart their affair.
Episode 2: The One Where They Build a House: Lindsay (played by Portia de Rossi) keeps trying to find a man to date. Michael has to figure out a way to save the Bluth Company.
Episode 3: Amigos!: Lucille asks the family detective to try and find George Sr. Buster (played by Tony Hale) tries to avoid his call to duty by the Army.
Episode 4: Good Grief: Ice, the bounty hunter, tells the Bluths that George Sr. was killed in Mexico. George-Michael has to deal with his first break-up.
Episode 5: Sad Sack: Buster is put on suspension form boot camp. A new prosecutor is put on the George Sr. case.
Episode 6: Afternoon Delight: Michael begins to feel as if George-Michael is getting too old to spend time with him. Oscar and Lucille engage in some afternoon delight but not the kind you’re thinking.
Episode 7: Switch Hitter: The old dynamic between Michael and George Sr. returns. The big annual softball game is coming up that sees the Bluth Company face off against Sitwell, their biggest competitor.
Episode 8: Queen for a Day: After lying about her age, Maeby (played by Alia Shawkat) has got a job as a studio executive. Gob (played by Will Arnett) gets fired from Sitwell Enterprises.
Episode 9: Burning Love: Michael runs into Sally Sitwell (played by Christine Taylor), who he’s always had feelings for. George Sr., who is still living in the attic, has a hot tub installed.
Episode 10: Ready, Aim, Marry Me!: In an effort to save the Bluth Company Michael invites over wealthy 90-year-old Uncle Jack (played by Martin Short). Gob’s still secretly seeing Lucille 2 (played by Liza Minelli) but she’s grown tired of his needy ways.
Episode 11: Out on a Limb: Michael and Sally begin dating. Gob and Michael consult the family lawyer Barry (played by Henry Winkler) about Gob’s wife (played by Amy Poehler) filing for divorce.
Episode 12: Hand to God: Michael tells George-Michael that he might be the father of Maggie’s (played by Julia Louis-Dreyfuss) child. After swimming for the first time in the ocean Buster loses his hand when he’s attacked by a seal.
Episode 13: Motherboy XXX: It’s time for Motherboy 30 and Lucille want Michael to go with her instead of Buster. Carl Weathers is doing a TV movie about the Bluths and offers Tobias (played by David Cross) a part if he gets the family to sign a release.
Episode 14: The Immaculate Election: Lindsay kicks Tobias out. George-Michael decides to run for student body president.
Episode 15: Sword of Destiny: George-Michael is learning how to drive but it’s slow going as his father is teaching him. Lindsay begs Michael to hire Tobias.
Episode 16: Meet the Veals: Michael invites Ann’s (played by Mae Whitman) parents over to a Bluth family party in the hope of driving her away. Tobias, dressed up like an older British lady, keeps working for the Bluths as a maid/nanny for Maeby.
Episode 17: Spring Breakout: Micahel decides it’s time to really do something about his mother’s drinking problem. Kitty (played by Judy Greer) locates George Sr. in the attic of the model home.
Episode 18: The Righteous Brothers: Cousins Maeby and George-Michael get even closer. Lindsay is jealous when Tobias starts dating Kitty.
