Last August the British folk band Mumford and Sons played a couple of sold out shows in Morrison, Colorado as part of the North American leg of their world tour. The shows were recorded by FRED & NICK and they manage to give the viewer an intimate look at the band. The large amphitheatre has been the site of many a great concert by the likes of U2 and The Beatles. There is also some interview and other footage of the band shot during the Gentlemen of the Road tour.

In 2012 Mumford and Sons exploded onto the music scene. With their performance at the Grammys with Bob Dylan and the albums Sigh No More and Babel selling tons of copies, they were on all music fans’ radars. The documentary shows what a crazy amount of energy the band dispenses during their live shows. It is obvious from the first few moments how much this band like performing. That energy is juxtapositioned perfectly with the romantic nature of their songs. The lyrics are like something out of the past and their harmonies are food for the soul.  A nice selection of songs from their first two albums is featured in the show.
