An ex-con who is a great thief takes on the identity of the sheriff in Banshee, Pennsylvania. Lucas Hood (played by Antony Starr) has one big secret in that he isn’t who he says he is. Conveniently the sheriff dropped dead before being sworn in and also before anyone could meet him. Lucas had come to the small town in the hopes of finding his old partner in business and love, Ana (played by Ivana Milicevic). When he does find her he finds that things have changed a lot. While working things out Lucas also has to worry about the gangster named Mr. Rabbit who is searching for them and the money and diamonds they have. Never a dull moment in this small town.
Episode 1: Pilot: An ex-con who has recently been paroled travels to the small town of Banshee to try and find the woman who was his lover and fellow thief. At a local saloon he runs into the a man about to become the town’s sheriff named Lucas Hood.
Episode 2: The Rave: After assuming the identity of town sheriff, Lucas Hood the ex-con meets his team in the police department. The police find out about a rave being held at a farm house and decide to go there to break it up.
Episode 3: Meet the Boss: Anna meets up with Ukranian gangster known as Mr. Rabbit (played by Ben Cross), the man they stole money and diamonds from. A local Indian casino reopens.
Episode 4: Half Dead is Better Than All Dead: Lucas returns to what he does best – thieving. At his latest job he finds himself in a pickle when he is locked inside the state museum while robbing it.
Episode 5: The Kindred: Lucas along with his old friends Sugar (played by Frankie Faison) and Job (played by Hoon Lee) begins to track the schedule of armored cars. Proctor (played by Ulrich Thomsen) is not happy when the owners of the casino don’t want to cut him in on the action.
Episode 6: Wicks: Lucas has some flashbacks to his time in prison. In prison Mr. Rabbit arranged for Lucas to be beaten in retribution for stealing his money and daughter from him.
Episode 7: Behold a Pale Rider: Carrie’s daughter Deva (played by Ryann Shane) is held hostage at her high school by a man eluding the police after attempting a robbery. Lucas cannot help as Carrie has him in order to give him to Mr. Rabbit in order to ensure her safety.
Episode 8: We Shall Live Forever: Gordon (played by Rus Blackwell) begins looking into Carrie’s past. Rebecca (played by Lili Simmons) is banished by her Amish family.
Episode 9: Always a Cowboy: Mr. Rabbit gets closer to getting Carrie and Lucas so she tries to escape with her family. Alex uses one of Proctor’s heavies at the casino.
Episode 10: A Mixture of Madness: Lucas makes a decision that has an effect on many people in Banshee.
