Originally released in regular DVD format in 1997 and now it has been upgraded to blu-ray quality. For fans this is a treasure as it is one of the few times that a Bee Gees show was recorded live. It also is one of the last concerts where all three were together. It is a melancholic watch due to the fact that Robin, Maurice and even younger brother Andy have all passed away leaving Barry as the only surviving member.
The brothers Gibb, Barry, Robin and Maurice, had a long and very successful career. In this show recorded at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas the Bee Gees move chronologically through their song catalogue starting at the beginning and moving through their disco songs. Even the set (a large video screen showing old home movies of the brothers) and lights add to the show.
There are over 30 songs in the show and some of the highlights are a duet with Celine Dion on “Immortality”, a duet with Frankie Valli on “Grease” and the four Gibb brothers together on the song “(Our Love) Don’t Throw It All Away”.
