On the islands of Hawaii a special task force has been assembled to fight crime. Led by former Navy Seals Commander Steve McGarrett (played by Alex O’Laughlin), the team is made up of Danny Williams (played by Scott Caan), Chin Ho Kelly (played by Daniel Dae Kim) and Kono Kalakaua (played by Grace Park).  They operate under the authority of Governor Sam Denning (played by Richard T. Jones) and work high profile cases. Their cases involve terrorism, murder, robberies, hostage taking, and even bombings. Due to the nature and difficulty of their cases things move at a mile a minute and despite this these highly trained and highly skilled officers of the law always end up getting their man.

Episode 1: La O Ya Makuanhine (Mother’s Day): McGarrett’s mother Doris (played by Christine Lahti) reappears years after he believed she had died. The team chases after Wo Fat (played by Mark Dacascos) who is responsible for a death of a police officer.

Episode 2: Kanalua (Doubt): The team decides to use ex-con August March (played by Ed Asner) in a case involving an art heist. In order to help McGarrett locate his mother, Catherine (played by Michelle Borth) goes undercover.

Episode 3: Lana I Ka Moana (Adrift): Danny and McGarrett go out on what is supposed to be a relaxing fishing trip. It is until their boat is jacked and they are left aboard a sinking dinghy in the middle of the ocean.

Episode 4: Popilikia (Misfortune): Doris back and things are not any more clear than before she left. The team works a case involving the decapitation of a polo player.

Episode 5: Mohai (Offering): A ritualistic killer seems to begin working around Halloween. The team has to figure things out before the killer gets a second victim.

Episode 6: I Ka Wa Mamua (In a Time Past): Danny has to remain immobile while a bomb is being diffused. He uses the time to tell McGarrett about a case he worked while in New Jersey.

Episode 7: Ohuna (The Secret): A young computer hacker is murdered and it is up to the team to figure out why. McGarrett tries to get his sister (played by Taryn Manning) back together with their mother.

Episode 8: Wahine’inoloa (Evil Woman): McGarrett is sure that an attractive psychotherapist (played by Vanessa Marcil) is responsible for the death of one of her patients. The rest of the team does not agree with McGarrett’s assessment.

Episode 9: Ha’awe Make Loa (Death Wish): Danny is working on protecting a bunch of Victoria Secret models. Max (played by Masi Oka) and the bank teller (played by Rumer Willis) he has a crush on are caught in a bank robbery.

Episode 10: Huaka’I Kula (Field Trip): Danny and McGarrett go on an Aloha Girls camping trip to teach them about survival. McGarrett and one of the Aloha Girls are taken hostage by an armed man (played by Tom Arnold) in the woods.

Episode 11: Kahu (Guardian): McGarrett arrests a man who attempted to jack his car. While at the police station he runs into a young boy whose father is missing and may be in trouble.

Episode 12: Kapu (Forbidden): The team works on the case of a college professor who was murdered and whose body was dissolved in a chemical. Kono is charges with guarding a criminal about to testify in a federal case.

Episode 13: Olelo Ho’opa’I Make (Death Sentence): Chin Ho is kidnapped only to wake and find himself in jail. The team has to break all kinds of rules to try and save him.

Episode 14: Hana I Wa’ia (Scandal): Danny has to go to court to try and keep Grace (played by Teilor Grubbs) in Hawaii. Governor Denning asks McGarrett to work quietly on a case involving the death of a prostitute.

Episode 15: Hookman: This is an update of an episode from the original series. The team goes after a killer who is targeting cops including McGarrett.

Episode 16: Kekoa (Warrior): The death of a Hawaiian fighting master brings in the team to investigate. McGarrett hires an investigator (played by Treat Williams) to follow Doris to find out what she is up to.

Episode 17: Pa’ani (The Game): The Pro Bowl is in Oahu and Danny and McGarrett plan on attending but a case gets in the way. A software executive is killed during a team building tactical ops simulation.

Episode 18: Na Ki’i (Dolls): Catherine once again goes undercover this time on a roller derby tem. Doris’s place is robbed and the thief gets the microfiche.

Episode 19: Hoa Pili (Close Friend): Danny and McGarrett make a bet on whether Kamekona (played by Taylor Wily) will get his helicopter pilot’s license. The team works on a case involving the murder of a shark-tour operator.

Episode 20: Olelo Pa’a (The Promise): A prequel to the series pilot. McGarrett remembers his last mission in North Korea while he and Catherine travel to the country to recover the body of a fallen soldier and friend.

Episode 21: Imi Loko’uhane (Seek Within One’s Soul): Talk show host Savannah Walker (played by Aisha Tyler) rides along with Five-0 in order to get some footage for her show. The case the team is working on involves Wo Fat.

Episode 22: Ho’opio (To Take Captive): The body of girl kidnapped ten years prior is discovered. The team tries to find her kidnapper or kidnappers as it seems they might have taken another young girl.

Episode 23: He Welo’oihana (Family Business): Doris and McGarrett work together on a covert operation in order to recover the stolen microfiche. Kono’s life is in danger due to Adam and his secrets.

Episode 24: Aloha Malama Pono (Farewell and Take Care): Five-0 works with the CIA in order to track down a treacherous killer. At the same time Kono is on the run from the police for a murder she did not commit.
